FAQ
Q: What is Lacrosse Fantasy Camp?
A: Lacrosse Fantasy Camp is the first-ever lacrosse fantasy camp experience
in the history of the game. Created for men ages 35 and older, the 3-day camp will provide
beginner and intermediate-level lacrosse instruction and playing opportunities for lacrosse dads and
lacrosse fans who never got a chance to learn the game when they grew up, or who played some in
the past but haven't had a chance to play in an organized setting in many years. In addition to the
instruction and playing opportunities, participants will be treated to VIP experiences to learn from,
interact, and socialize with multiple lacrosse legends, including current and former coaches and players
from the NCAA, MLL, and Team USA. Once the lacrosse sessions are over, plenty of networking and
exclusive social activities will be planned, including Cocktail Parties, a historic downtown Baltimore Pub
Crawl, and an Awards Dinner.
Q: Who should attend the Lacrosse Fantasy Camp?
A: Lacrosse Fantasy Camp is open to all men ages 35 and older. Although the
program was designed for lacrosse dads and other adult men/fans with no experience (or little
experience) playing themselves, all experience levels are welcome, and players will be grouped onto
teams according to experience/skill level.
Q: What should I bring?
A: Participants should bring full lacrosse equipment (stick, helmet, pads, gloves, mouthguard), weather-
appropriate practice clothing for 3 on-field sessions, and enough casual/business casual attire for
organized social events.
Q: I'd like to register with friends. Are we able to room together at the Baltimore Marriott Hunt Valley?
A: Yes. Rooms are available on a Single (1 King) occupancy basis, or a Double (2 Queens) occupancy
basis. Please indicate your preference on your registration form, where you can also list the name of
your requested roommate.
Q: I plan on attending alone, but would like to take advantage of the reduced rate for the Double
Occupancy room. Is this possible?
A: We will make every effort to place Single participants together who would like a roommate.
Please register for the Double occupancy option on your registration form, and if we're unable to
accommodate your request, we will contact you to work out an alternative.
Q: I want to attend the camp, but have other accommodation options in the area. Can I come as
a "Day Camper," or am I required to stay overnight at the Baltimore Marriott Hunt Valley?
A: Yes, you are able to register as a "day camper," and no, you are not required to stay overnight at the
hotel. Just make sure to indicate on your registration form that you plan to attend as a "Day Camper."
As a Day Camper, you are still invited to participate in all evening and social activities.
Q: What is included with my registration?
A: Your registration includes luxury accommodations at the Baltimore Marriott Hunt Valley, daily
transportation to and from the fields, all instructional lacrosse sessions, informal/classroom seminars,
all evening social events, and all meals (except for dinner on Thursday). All participants will also receive
gear and giveaways.
Q: I'm old and out of shape. Will there be medical staff on hand to help with any potential injuries or
ailments?
A: Yes, we will have a Certified Athletic Trainer and EMT on-site for all playing and instructional
sessions, and we encourage all participants to pack plenty of Advil, Ben Gay, or other popular remedies.
